Cohocton Man Might Lose Custody of Child, After Being Pulled Over

January 4 2016

COHOCTON, NY – The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Cohocton man was pulled over because his inspection sticker was outdated.

Officials say that the suspect would not stay in his car, was disruptive, and would not identify himself when asked to. It’s being reported that Child Protective Services also got involved because, according to the sheriff’s department, the suspect’s three year old son was left alone at home, for almost an hour.

The suspect was accused of having an uninspected vehicle with a driver’s license that was revoked half a dozen times, and is facing other charges too.

He was sent to Steuben County Jail on $1500 bail.
