Complaints About Seneca Street Bridge

Complaints About Seneca Street Bridge Work
April 22, 2014

Complaints continue about the Steuben County Department of Public Work’s Seneca Street bridge project.

On the Hornell side of the bridge, Rich Argentieri of the Italian Villa says water has been coming into the restaurant, and on the North Hornell side of the bridge, real estate agent Stacie Schieder has multiple concerns. Shieder says the curb cut in her parking lot is now gone, that the foundation of the building has cracked, and that there’s been flooding in her businesses parking lot.

Steuben County DPW Chief Vince Spagnoletti was quoted by Mayor John Falci as saying he needs “hard evidence” before anything can be done.
