Congressman Reed Talking with VA’s In This Congressional District

Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) is outraged by allegations of hospital neglect at the Phoenix Arizona, VA.
Reed says as soon as that news broke, he contacted the Bath VA to make sure nothing like that was going on in Bath. “I wanted to hear straight from the director that nothing like the neglect at the Phoenix VA was happening here in our backyard,” Reed said. “Director Swartz and I had a direct and frank conversation about our willingness to keep the lines of communication flowing as the Inspector General conducts its investigation.
Reed says he’s also talking with the other VA’s in the 23rd congressional district, to make sure that there are no secret waiting lists, as happened in Phoenix, Arizona.
