WASHINGTON, DC – Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has chosen to remove himself from the race for Speaker of the House. Leadership elections have been postponed. I respect Kevin’s leadership and decision to withdraw. As we continue to listen to the American people, I believe this is an opportunity for a fresh face to unite us and lead America forward.
