Congressman Tom Reed: Update On Vaccines In NYS And NYC

February 3, 2021
REED SHARES LATEST UPDATE ON WEEKLY NATIONAL, NY VACCINE METRICS TO ENSURE TRANSPARENCY (2/3/20)

CORNING, NY – Today, Rep. Tom Reed shared a weekly update on key COVID-19 vaccine data, including allocation and administration metrics for New York State and New York City.

Reed will continue to provide these weekly updates to help counteract confusion, misinformation, and limited transparency into New York’s vaccine allocations and the federal vaccine pipeline. According to the latest data, roughly 7.9% of New Yorkers have received at least one dose of vaccine.

In case you missed it, Reed has continued to push for the use of every available federal resource, including FEMA and other emergency response programs, to better coordinate the distribution of the vaccine. Federal intervention would help to directly address the numerous issues with New York’s convoluted state vaccine rollout. You can read more about those efforts HERE.
