Counterfeit Money Charge in Livingston County

CONESUS, NY – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Conesus man is accused of trying to pass a counterfeit 100 dollar bill in a grocery store in Livingston County.

The suspect, Scotty McKay, was arrested for Felony Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd degree. McKay was arraigned in the Town of Livonia Court and remanded to the custody of the Sheriff.

McKay is being held in the Livingston County Jail on $1,000 bail.
