On Friday, NYS put out a statement about changes coming today about wearing covid masks to school.
Then yesterday at 5amm the NYS Dept of Ed issued a statement about the first statement, so to clear up any confusion, Wlea News checked in this morning with Hornell School Superintendent Jeremy Palotti.
Here is what Palotti says: “As of this moment- there is no change to the state’s requirements for wearing of face covering on school grounds in the state. The guidance from April is still current. Meaning, until the state officially changes we are required to continue as is. We fully expect to see changes soon, but they are not official yet.”
