D.A. Brooks Baker: Lets Pass The Sticker Store Local Law

June 13, 2024

Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker wants the county legislature to pass the legislation that the county D.A.’s office and the county sheriff’s department came up with, to shut down marijuana sticker stores. “The proposed law is based on a local law that’s being used currently in New York Citym,” Baker said this morning. “They’ve had tremendous success, they’ve found that these stores make millions of dollars, obviously those stores have a bigger population then we have here, but they shut these stores down in New York City and that’s our goal here and in Steuben County we need to get this local law passed,” Baker stated.
