December 7th: 23 New Cases For Allegany County

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 14.9 million people, and there have been over 283,000 deaths.  According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 713,129 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 27,232 deaths statewide.  As of 6:40 p.m. on December 7, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

Confirmed Cases:  1,270   (23 new)

Recovered Cases:  1,065

COVID-19 Related Deaths:  50 (Depending on reporting times and agencies, this figure may vary between different reports.)

Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date:  5,681

Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 4,813

Currently Quarantined/Isolated:  868

Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date:  1,345

Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given:  885

Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives:  50
