CAMPBELL, NY – Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker reports that the sheriff’s office is charging Nicholas Rideout, of Campbell, with 2nd degree attempted murder. Officials are alleging that Nicholas Rideout stabbed his wife, almost a dozen times, in the neck, Monday night, in Campbell.
There had been a report from another media outlet, that Rideout’s wife had suffered self-inflicted wounds, but that report turned out to be untrue.
