CANISTEO, NY – Canisteo Village Police Chief Kyle Amidon report that Richard Anderson Jr., 51, Bath, was pulled over during a routine traffic stop in Canisteo, and police say that drugs were discovered in Anderson’s vehicle. “Officers discovered Anderson Jr was in possession of individually packaged narcotics and marijuana,” Police Chief Amidon said. “Anderson Jr. was arraigned in the Canisteo Village Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail. Anderson will re-appear in Canisteo Village Court at a later date. The Canisteo Village Police Department was assisted by the New York State Police and the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit.”
