Dunning: The Water Plant Improvements Are Helping Hornell Save $

January 21, 2016

HORNELL, NY – Hornell Board of Public Works water pollution control plant operator Rich Dunning says that because of improvements at the plant, they’re starting to see good savings for the Hornell City Hall budget. According to Dunning, more than $40,000 dollars was saved.

Also, Mayor Shawn Hogan says City Hall is getting a rebate check from New York energy and research development authority for approximately $58,000 for the upgrades that have been installed from a company called Johnson Controls.

Hogan says that will alleviate debt from the project.
