Hornell Police Chief Ted Murray says he would like to see a local law passed requiring a helmet for all the e bike riders out there these days.
Murray said this yesterday, after Mayor John Buckley expressed his concerns about seeing lots of Ebikes on sidewalks. The Hornell Police Chief agreed with the mayor, and Murray says that seeing Ebikes on sidewalks has become a growing problem.
In other Hornell news, the three new Hornell police officers are now on regular duty.
Chief Murray also says the newest police car will be going into service in the next few weeks.
