At this meeting, Steuben County Department Of Emergency Services Director Tim Marshall is going to talk about how the fire and ambulance crews, and what to do about the decline in enrollment of new volunteers to work for both. “The county is looking at what steps the county can possibily take to help try to get more ambulance volunteers, and support the volunteers in whatever way we can,” Marshall told Wlea News. “So it’s really in a discussion phase right now.”

The Allegany County Committee of the Whole, discussed Emergency Medical Services, and Fire and Ambulance issues yesterday. Officials talked about the possibilities of starting up new ambulance departments throughout parts of Allegany County.
