Painted Post State Police are now reporting that the assult victim who was beaten up in Erwin on Tuesday morning, has died. As a result, the charges have been upped from 1st degree assault and 2nd degree attempted murder, to 2nd degree murder, against the suspect, John Marvin Jr of Painted Post.
Troopers also say that the victim was a 54 year old female, but they have not released her name yet.
