HORNELL, NY – After months of planning and tireless effort from numerous people in the Hornell area, the 100 year old Federation building on the Broadway in Hornell, has had a complete makeover and is ready for business.
An opening ceremony was held Friday evening in the banquet room on the second floor with nearly 75 people in attendance. Hornell Mayor Shawn Hogan kicked off the ceremony with a speech followed by a couple of the many contributors.
The four-story building holds commercial space, seven two-bedroom and two one-bedroom high-end apartments, and a large auditorium with an adjacent elevator.
