Firefighters From Seven Allegany Co Fire Dept’s – Are Being Sent To Orange County

ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY – The Wellsville Regional News Page reports that fire departments from Richburg, Allentown, Clarksville, Cuba, New Hudson, Willing and Wellsville, are being deployed to Orange County, to help get the fires there, under control. “These units are scheduled to be deployed on-site for 12 hours,” said Allegany County Fire Coordinator William Daly Jr. It is their intentions to converge at a specified rally point before convoying together for the nearly 4 ½ hour drive to their destination.”

Wlea News contacted Steuben County Public Safety Director Tim Marshall, who says that some Steuben County firefighters, may be going to Orange County, later this week.
