Flood Watch Goes Into Effect Friday Morning

August 8, 2024

Meteorologist Rob Carolan now says the remnants of Debby are likely going to be moving towards Steuben County. Carolan says “It looks like the models continue to track what’s going to be left of Debby further and further west,” he notes that originally it looked like it was going to cut up across the Hudson River Valley and go through Vermont. But now he says, it looks like it may go through Eastern New York State. Also, it keeps throwing the moisture back our way so it looks like Steuben County could see several inches of rainfall on Friday and into Friday night.
