Former Corning Mayor Frank Coccho, Has Died

CORNING, NY – Numerous Corning area media outlets are reporting that former Corning Mayor, Frank Coccho, has died at the age of 77.

From Congressman Tom Reed:
“Saddened to hear about the passing of longtime Councilman and former Mayor Frank Coccho. Frank was a Corning institution. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Betty, and the entire Coccho family during this very difficult time.”

From Former Hornell Mayor Shawn Hogan:
“He was larger than life, his personality would fill up a room. He was all about Corning, he loved his city and he loved the people in his city, and he always worked for the betterment of his community. He was a true public servant and a wonderful person. My condolences to his family, to his friends and to the City of Corning.”
