January 3, 2024

Democrat U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand says since her law (the P.A.C.T. Act) about toxic burn pit treatments for VA patients was signed into law, five million veterans have been screened for toxic exposure.

Gillibrand also says, detection and treatment can make all the difference.

Veterans who need help with their applications can call the VA’s 24/7 helpline at 800-698-2411, reach out to their local Veterans Service Organization (VSO), or contact Senator Gillibrand’s office at casework@gillibrand.senate.gov.
