GOP Candidate For Gov, Lee Zeldin, Stops By Corning

NEW YORK – On Thursday, October 7, 2021, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), who has been named the presumptive nominee for Governor of New York by both the New York Republican and Conservative Parties, met with Chairman Joe Mirabito and Vice President Bill Mirabito of Mirabito Energy Products in Binghamton in Broome County.

Congressman Zeldin then headed to Ithaca in Tompkins County to meet with the Ithaca Police Benevolent Association (PBA), including President Thomas Condzella. The Congressman and Ithaca PBA were also joined by Tompkins County GOP Chair and County Legislator Mike Sigler and other committee members.

Congressman Zeldin then traveled to Miles Winery in Himrod in Yates County to meet with leaders of the local wine industry, including owner of Miles Winery, Suzy Miles.

Congressman Zeldin then visited the Keuka Candy Emporium in Penn Yan to continue his conversation with Yates County small business owners.

Congressman Zeldin finished the evening at the Yates County Republican Party Dinner in Penn Yan where he addressed hundreds of New Yorkers and spoke about their shared vision to Save Our State.

On Friday, October 8, 2021, Congressman Zeldin kicked off the day meeting with the Seneca Falls Republican Party, including Chairman Tom Fox, in Seneca County.

Congressman Zeldin then toured the DeGeorge Family Barn in Branchport in Yates County with owner Joe DeGeorge.

Following the DeGeorge Family Barn, Congressman Zeldin joined the Chemung County Republican Party for a Meet and Greet, during which he earned their endorsement for Governor of New York.

Congressman Zeldin ended the evening with the Steuben County Republican Party where he headlined their county-wide dinner at the Nasser Civic Center in Corning.

After visiting Monticello in Sullivan County overnight, on Saturday, October 9, 2021, Congressman Zeldin was the special guest for the American Latino Coalition’s Members Brunch in Chester in Orange County.
