GOP Primary Is June 25 In Steuben County

Steuben County GOP Election Commissioner Vicky Olin says, there’s a Primary coming up on Tuesday June 25. There are four primaries: one for a Congressional race, one for Bath Town Clerk, one for Wheeler Town Board and one for Wheeler Highway Superintendent.

The congressional primary is between GOP Congresswoman Claudia Tenney and Republican Mario Fratto. The congressional primary is in Avoca, Cohocton, Dansville, Prattsburgh, Pulteney, Wayland and Wheeler. Those are the towns which will be on the new 24th Congressional District Map (that new map will including Steuben County, starting in January 2025).

The Bath Town Clerk GOP Primary is between Terra Thorpe and Tara Muller.

The Wheeler Town Board Primary is between Heather Trenchard & Jonathan Coe.

The Wheeler Highway Superintendent’s primary is between Douglas Towner & Richard Decker.

Polls are open from 6am until 9pm on June 25, in the towns having a primary. Early Voting June 15 – June 23 and early voting will be only held at the Steuben County Annex Building in Bath.
