This afternoon, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo joined more than 700 motorcycle riders who participated in the 9/11 Memorial Ride to New York City. The annual ride pays tribute to the first responders who showed strength, courage and heroism, and led recovery efforts during and following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Groups of riders traveled from Albany, Ulster and Nassau Counties before converging in New York City for a ceremonial ride down the West Side Highway to the World Trade Center site.
