Governor Andrew Cuomo’s name came up during the Governor Chris Christie Bridgegate trial. The NY Daily News reports that a former Pennsylvania Port Authority official said that Cuomo tried to help Governor Christie cover up the Bridgegate investigation by agreeing to go along with cover story to tell investigators about how there was a breakdown of communication during the Bridgegate traffic problems.
A spokesman for Governor Cuomo called the testimony “false and delusional”.
Former GOP candidate for governor, Rob Astorino is calling for the governor to resign.
