Gov. Hochul Pulls Rule Passed In January About Adoption

The New York Post reports that Governor Kathy Hochul has pulled a rule she got the office of children and family services to put into effect in January. That’s after a lot of push back. The state rule had banned parents from getting any financial assistance 60 days before the baby was born, and not until after 30 days after the baby was born.

The Post also reports that one of the big complaints about the rule, was that it made it difficult also, for adoptive parents.
