NEW YORK CITY – Time Warner Cable News reporter Liz Benjamin and the New York Post are reporting that that Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio scrambled to the aid of a mounted NYPD officer after the officer’s horse flung him onto the pavement in the middle of Sunday’s Greek Independence Day Parade.
According to Liz Benjamin, the officer suffered minor injuries to his right ankle and is in stable condition.
