Governor Cuomo Is Being Advised To Study Massachusett’s Plans To Take Over Failing Schools

ALBANY, NY – The Albany Times Union reports that Governor Andrew Cuomo’s state Operations Director Jim Malatras wants the State Education Department to examine Massachusetts’ legislative plans for restoring struggling schools.

The Times Union article says that Massachusetts plans include placing failing schools in receivership during a state-mandated recovery period.
