ALBANY, NY – Assemblyman Bill Nojay (R) sent out a statement today, predicting that Governor Andrew Cuomo’s proposal for creating a new agency called the New York State Design and Construction Corp, will end up as a “pay to play” scheme, to get campaign donations from construction companies. “History has shown us Gov. Cuomo’s relentless drive for centralized and unobstructed power in Albany is designed to produce big money contributions for his campaign accounts,” said Nojay.
Rich Azzopardi, from Governor Cuomo’s press office, issued the following response:
“We have not commented on any of Bill Nojay’s crackpot conspiracy theories thus far and don’t plan to start now.”
