Governor’s Budget Plans Are Out

ALBANY, NY – The NY Times reports that Governor Andrew Cuomo’s budget plans were announced last night, it’s a $152 billion dollar budget, and here’s the breakdown: one billion dollars for education, two billion dollars for clean water, 500 million on another Buffalo Billion project, 10 billion dollars to improve the JFK airport, 240 million for lawyers for the poor, and 420 million dollars on Hollywood projects in New York State.

State Senator Tom O’Mara is concerned about the spending: “how can we afford it?” O’Mara asked.
