Hartsville Farmer Accused of Dumping Phosphorus and Ammonia In Purdy Creek

HARTSVILLE, NY – A Hartsville farmer is accused of dumping waste into Purdy Creek. Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says that Russell Gerow, 65, is accused of dumping ammonia and phosphorus into Purdy Creek, and that Gerow was charged by both the Department of Environmental Conservation.
