Hartsville Town Board Member Resigns

HARTSVILLE, NY – Hartsville Town Supervisor Mike Palmer announced at the Wednesday night regular Hartsville Town monthly meeting, that newly elected town board member Ron Amidon has submitted his resignation, after Amidon learned of a conflict of interest.
 
Supervisor Palmer suggested, and the town board has agreed and appointed, Mike Muhleisen to take Ron Amidon’s place on the town board.
 
Muhliesen is the former town supervisor.

Also in Hartsville, there is a new assessor now: Brenda Wise.
Officials say that Brenda comes to Hartsville after doing assessor work in Cohocton.
