Hartsville Update

May 11 2016

HARTSVILLE, NY – Last night, Mike Mulhiesan was appointed Deputy Supervisor, to take the place of Town Supervisor Mike Palmer, as Palmer resigned this week.  Kay Miles is now back as the town clerk, as Lisa Hamilton resigned at yesterday’s meeting.

In other Hartsville news, the town board says they cannot change the wind law because they say wind company Next Era has not submitted an application for a wind farm (and a Hartsville official tells us that it’s a requirement of the wind law that if a change is made to the wind law, a wind company must first submit an application for a project).  Wind farmers don’t like that, and complained about it to the town board last night.
