Steuben County and Allegany County had hundreds of power outages last night. As of this posting, we have spoken with Allegany County officials who tell us that there were numerous downed trees and wires last night there. In the 6:00pm hour Wednesday, over 200 NYSEG customers whad lost power in Birdsall, over 110 in the Town of Burns and over 450 were without power in the Allegany County Town of Grove.
As for Steuben County, in the 6:00pm hour last night there were over 450 NYSEG outages in Campbell.
Also there were scattered outages in Thurston and Urbana.
As of now, there are no power outages in either Steuben County or Allegany County, being reported by NYSEG this morning.
