HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police are reporting that Mary Jackson, 28, and Roy Austin, 30, both of Andover, are accused of heroin possession (the exact charge is criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree).
Hornell Police Chief Ted Murray says Officers Brett Flaitz and Matt Wood pulled over a vehicle that Mary Jackson was driving, and that Roy Austin was a passenger in. Murray says that inside the vehicle was a large amount of heroin.
According to Hornell Police, Andover and Jackson are in Steuben County Jail, and there is no bail.
