High Levels Of Sodium in Almond Water Supply
January 7, 2014

ALMOND, NY – The Allegany Department of Health tested the Village of Almond’s water supply and found it to have high levels of sodium.

If you live in Almond, and are on a severely restricted sodium diet, you should avoid drinking Almond water until further notice.

Officials say the average person should not be affected by the water.

To solve the problem, officials say they’re going to eventually stop using one of the wells, the one that’s causing the high level of sodium.
