STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR KATHY HOCHUL ON BIDEN ADMINISTRATION’S NEGOTIATIONS WITH ISRAEL AND HAMAS
“I am encouraged by reports that the deal being negotiated by the Biden Administration is moving closer to a resolution. This would bring the remaining hostages home safely, get more humanitarian aid into Gaza, alleviate the suffering of civilians, and put an end to the continued loss of innocent life through a six-week temporary ceasefire. Israel has agreed to the proposal – now Hamas must do so as well.”
