HORNELL, NY – Mayor Shawn Hogan says he is not running again, but he would like the mayor’s salary to increase, so Hornell can get a good quality candidate to run in his place. “The chartered salary for mayor still reads in the budget at $28,000 I believe, and for secession planning purposes I don’t think you’re going to get anybody interested in running a city with a $15,000,000 budget, for $28,000,” Hogan said this week.
