BATH, NY – State Police have arrested a Bath man for second-degree murder. 33-year-old Jarrett Gause was taken into custody Thursday during the noon hour. Troopers also charged him with five counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree assault, first-degree falsifying business records and tampering with physical evidence. The crime took place in the village of bath on Thursday. State police have not yet released any additional information. Gause was ordered held in the Steuben County Jail.
