HORNELL, NY – Yesterday the Hornell Board of Public Works accepted a bid from Green Mountain Pipeline Services to reline a portion of the sanitary sewer trunk line in the Hornell. The City was awarded over $500,000 in CDBG funds for the project and the winning bid came in at $259,555.
“This is great news for Hornell residents,” said Hornell Mayor John Buckley. “The City can now direct the remaining funds to other areas of the sewer trunk line that is in need of repair.”
