HORNELL, NY – On Tuesday night, Hornell School Superintendent Doug Wyant and school finance officer Pat Flaitz spoke about their proposed budget for the Hornell School District.
According to Flaitz, the Hornell School system spends less than similar schools do, and Hornell is just a little under half of what the state average is.
Flaitz also says that last year, the school budget was about 35.5 million, for the 2015-2016 budget, it will be 36.5 million, around a one million dollar increase.
