Hornell Man Is Facing Charges After Allegedly Setting A Car On Fire And Fighting With The Firefighters

Hornell Police report that John Holiday, 25, of Hornell, is charged for allegedly setting a car on fire. Police say the car, was near a pole and a house.  Holiday is also charged for allegedly threatening the Hornell Fire Department with a knife, when they showed up to get the car fire put out. 

Holiday is charged with 3rd degree arson, 2nd degree menacing, 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon and obstructing firefighting operations.
