Hornell Police Chief Ted Murray says the two people who were shot in Hornell were actually from Rochester area. Murray also says the two victims originally told police that they were shot in Rochester, but the Rochester Police Department investigated further and eventually found out that the shooting took place in Hornell near the Hornell Plaza. Also, Murray says there was only one bullet fired, which struck two people inside the vehicle which was driving away. The Hornell Police Chief also says that the injuries were not serious or life threatening.
