Hornell Police Spent Friday At Hornell Schools

HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police Chief Ted Murray says that the Hornell Police Department spent much of Friday at Hornell High School, Bryant School, the Columbian School, North Hornell and the Intermediate School. Chief Murray says the purpose of the training was to familiarize the officers with the changes in the building structures of the schools. School Resource Officer Jason Day assisted with the training for Hornell Police, who practiced their entries into the schools and protocol, in case of an emergency.
