Charges: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree-Scales, Possession of Hypodermic Instrument, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree, Use of Motor Vehicle without interlock device, Operating Vehicle without Insurance, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Unlicensed Operator and other Vehicle and Traffic Violations.

Details of the Incident: On Tuesday March 23rd, 2021 The Canisteo Village Police Department arrested Kyle J. Shaw (Age 31) of Erie Avenue in Hornell, New York for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree-Scales, Possession of Hypodermic Instrument, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree, Use of Motor Vehicle without interlock device, Operating Vehicle without Insurance, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Unlicensed Operator and other Vehicle and Traffic Violations. This investigation stemmed from a routine traffic stop in the Village of Canisteo turning into a Narcotic Investigation. Shaw was issued 11 Vehicle and Traffic Citations and appearance tickets to appear in Canisteo Village Court at a later date and time.
