Today is the capital project voting day in Hornell, voting for Hornell School District taxpayers is going to take place inside Hornell High, from 12pm-9pm today.
Capital Project total cost: $30,215,000
Use of capital reserves: $12,075,000
Officials say there will be no tax rate increase as a result of the project.
It calls for the construction of a new competition gymnasium is being proposed at Hornell High School, including a community-accessible elevated walking track and student fitness center Security enhancements at each of our school buildings, as well as roofing work at the High School.
