The State of New York D.O.T conducted its annual inspection of the Canisteo Street Bridge this week; based on the findings of that inspection the City will be closing the bridge to all traffic effective Monday June 1, 2020, to ensure the safety of all motorists and pedestrians. The Canisteo Street Bridge is scheduled to be completely replaced next year and will re-open after the replacement is complete with a brand new bridge.
