Some home improvements are coming to some Hornell residences. Hornell Mayor John Buckley says hornell city hall has been given a block grant of just under half a million dollars. It was $461,835 dollars.
In other Hornell City Hall news, Mayor John Buckley and the Hornell Common Council have reappointed Rick Andolina to the Hornell IDA, Mike McCumsikey to the Hornell Library Board, and appointed Nancy Countryman to the Hornell Library Board, to replace Kate Santelli, who has resigned from the library board.
And Hornell Police Chief Ted Murray says Officer Mike Hoyt took some kids out shopping, in a shop with a cop event this past weekend. Chief Murray says thanks to Hornell businessman peter Wall and everyone else who donated to the shop with a cop fund this year.
