We are now less than three weeks away from Election Day 2025, which will be Tuesday, November 4. In Hornell, there are three contested races for the Hornell Common Council. In the 3rd Ward, Democrat Diedre Cardemone is running against incumbent Joe McKay, for his seat on the Council.
In the 6th Ward, Democrat John Clinton Bradley is running against Alderwoman Lita Brown (R). In the 7th Ward in Hornell, Democrat Okeena Gadsen is going up against Republican Kevin Valentine for that seat. The other Hornell races are uncontested on the official Steuben County ballot, though Hornell Mayor, Republican John Buckley has a write in opponent, Frederic Voss. Early voting in Hornell starts Saturday October 25th and goes through Sunday November 2. Hours for early voting are 9am to 5pm on all of those days. The only Canisteo Valley area for early voting, is at the Hornell Community Arts Center on Broadway. The other two locations are in Bath and Corning.
