HORNELL, NY – In an effort to address an issue that has been increasing in frequency in the City over the last several years, the Common Council voted unanimously Monday night to enact an ordinance that limits the number of dogs allowed per household to four within the City of Hornell. “Having a pet is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. Like children, our pets rely on us to provide them with a clean, safe and healthy environment”, said Mayor John Buckley.
This new ordinance will go into effect May 18, 2022.
