Hornellsville Officials Question Cost of Flood Insurance
Hornellsville officials are working with FEMA and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to see what can be done about expensive flood insurance, for an area of Hornellsville, that some local officials don’t believe is a serious problem for flooding.
Town Supervisor Ken Isaman is looking to find a way to get assistance in funding for a grant to do another flood study, as he, and others, are skeptical that the part of Hornellsville in question, is in serious danger of flooding.
